Having watched this video on repeat last night for what felt like 3 hours, I decided it was time to revamp my skincare routine à la française.  While I love trying new body creams and cosmetics, I'm usually pretty weary when it comes to my skincare.  I have hyper-sensitive skin and (I shit you not) can experience some pretty next-level reactions if I'm not careful with what products I use. That said, it's about damn time I really start figuring out how to best handle my face. Let's hope this lineup does me some good.

After searching for what has felt like forever, I think I've finally found "my fragrance."  Assumedly not everyone cares as much about perfume as I do, but I think it's a worthy investment if you intend on using it efficiently.  

Byredo as a brand has always peaked my interests-- not only is founder Ben Gorham's story unique (pro-European-baller-turned-perfumer), but each scent is really telling (and actually wearable).  The bottle and label are simple and unassuming.  Truly, the fragrance speaks for itself.  Gypsy Water is undoubtedly feminine, with a lot of body and just the perfect balance of spice and natural sweetness. 

Ultimately, I wanted to find something that would make me smell like the woman I want to be.  I found her in this bottle, and she fucking rules.

Acne's sort of killing it in the yellow department for fall/winter, don't you think?  Any one of these pieces paired with a bare face and red lip... I'm all for it.  Or we could scratch the red and go for a more "trendy" color, à la Azealia Banks par Mac Cosmetics.

My recent obsession with any and all things Jen Brill has subsequently led to a heightened interest in Chanel bags.  Obviously that isn't going to happen anytime soon, but I would love to add some kind of chained bag to my wardrobe.  Enter Proenza Schouler's large chain wallet: casual and classic.  You have no idea how much I love the fact that the chain is cuban linked.  It's the litte things that really get me.
